BONNEBAGAIART is the art brand of multi disciplinary artist Shelley Pestaina.
Translated “Good Vibes Art”, is a blend of French, and English Creole. Originally from the French and English speaking Caribbean island of Dominica, Pestaina obtained her secondary and tertiary education, (University of the Arts) in London where she continues to reside.
Her matured artistic style is an applied mixed media approach, a combination of gouache and charcoal. This has developed into a commentary on black identity and social and political issues.
